Supported by the Federal Department of Education, the Youth Participatory Action Research and SchYPAR team is all about empowering students and fostering community growth through research. From enhancing access to resources, to tackling issues like student parking and transportation safety, these passionate individuals stress the importance of amplifying student voices to make real, positive changes in their schools and communities. Pat Meyer is a high school teacher and ELA teacher in Berea, Ohio.

Lynn Monaco

Lynn Monaco is a Spanish teacher at Normandy High School in Parma, Ohio.

Lyndon Bryant

Senior at Normandy High School and participant in the YPAR program.

Grace Trella

Sophomore at Berea-Midpark High School and participant in the YPAR program.
